A consultant provides advice and leaves. A fractional CTO is part of your executive team—attending meetings, making decisions, managing people, and being accountable for outcomes. I'm your CTO, just not full-time.
How many clients do you work with?
I typically work with 2-4 clients at a time, ensuring each gets the attention they need.
Can you write code?
Yes, but that's not my primary value. I can contribute code when needed (emergency fixes, prototypes, code reviews), but you're hiring me for strategic leadership, not to be your senior developer.
What if we need more hours some months?
We can flex up or down as needed. Just let me know in advance and we'll adjust billing accordingly.
